America is rebuilding its industrial base under a deadline. Defense programs are moving from limited runs to pace and scale. Aerospace quality oversight is sharper than it has been in a generation. Compliance — CMMC, AS9100, ITAR, DFARS — has stopped being a back-office concern and become a procurement gate. And the labor needed to carry all of this is in shorter supply than at any point in modern memory.
The U.S. industrial base is being asked to produce more, prove more, and do both with fewer hands. The old operating model — clipboards, spreadsheets, tribal knowledge, audits assembled the night before — was never designed for this. It is the bottleneck for everything the country wants to build.
